Job Description:
· IT Engineer or equivalent, Generalist Engineer with an IT back-ground,
· At least 4 years experience in CLOUD implementations and knowledge of the aerospace domain,
· English (fluent), French (added advantage)
· AWS architecture, Added Advantage if any certifications in AWS/ Cloud Fundamentals
· S3, IM, EC2, Databases, API Gateways, VPC networking

AWS engineer

AWS Engineer Roles and Responsibilities

· Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure
· AWS CloudOps Engineer with good hands-on (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS)
· Good understanding of AWS Well Architected Framework
· Working knowledge of containerized applications running on Kubernetes, Docker with experience
· Expertise with Linux Operating System
· Experience with IaC (Terraform) and Shell Scripts
· Understanding and experience of CICD tools
· Build, release, and manage the configuration of all production systems
· Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies
· Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement any scalable software services
· Ensure necessary system security by using best in class cloud security solutions
· Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company
· Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines when necessary
· Recommend process and architecture improvements
· Troubleshoot the system and solve problems across all platform and application domains
· Oversee pre-production acceptance testing to ensure the high quality of a companys services and products

AWS Engineer

An experienced CloudOps engineer or AWS engineer is needed to help build a Landing Zone, shared services and other components to support workload migrations for a payment solutions provider. Must be analytically thinking and comfortable troubleshooting technical problems. You should understand the importance of peer review, test automation and continuous integration and delivery. You should be able to explain network resources and constructs. What you will be doing: Help support the build of Terraform scripts using CI/CD best practices to build out the landing zone, shared services and other components. You will work remotely within a team of engineers. Skills Must have’s Ability to communicate written and verbally in English 1-2 years’ experience working with AWS Understanding of Networks and network configuration 1+ years working with Terraform 1+ years Git Have used one of the following: Jenkins, JenkinsX, ArgoCD, CircleCi, Gitlab CI, TravisCI, Concourse CI, AWS Code pipeline Bash/Sh/Fish Linux (Centos /Redhat/Alpine) aws-cli
