Product Owner/Onsite Project Manager (SAP C4 HANA)

Role Overview and experience Required
Product Owner
The Product Owner is primarily responsible for ensuring the solution delivers value to our international customers.
Work closely with the customer team to understand the needs of the business and ensure appropriate and best use of the SAP C4 HANA applications to meet those needs.
They will work with the customer to define, guide, prioritize and appropriately document the requirements for the project, and with the development team to ensure delivery of business value.
The Product Owner works as a team member of the project board along with the Solution Architect, Lead Software Developer, Lead QA Analyst and Project Manager to deliver the complete solution for the customer.

Responsibilities
Working with the customer and project team to define requirements in terms of features and user stories.
Management of the flexible requirements scope with the customer throughout projects.
Management of the design and requirement gathering workshops with the customer.
Design next generation customer experience for client for related functions (eCommerce, Sales and Services)
Build and extend SAP C4 HANA as a platform to meet customers requirement in SAP Commerce, SAP Sales and Service Cloud.
Providing customers with B2C and B2B e-commerce best practices.
Driving the estimation process with the development and quality representatives.
Promoting business vision across the project team.
Refining customer requirements in terms of features, user stories, and acceptance criteria to prepare for future sprints.
Securing approval of stories and acceptance criteria prior to the start of the sprint.
working closely with the development teams and solution architect guiding the evolution of the solution.
Demonstrating the sprint releases to the customer.
Integrating customer feedback from post-sprint testing into the Product Backlog while ensuring scope creep is handled via scope swap or change request.
Providing cross-functional leadership and internal communication in the project team.
Own project functional documentation.
Ensuring excellent communication and collaboration between all internal and external teams
This role involves working in a distributed environment with our international customers and has occasional overseas travel.

Qualifications
Ideal candidates for this role will have the following:
Excellent verbal and written English and Japanese.
3+ years experience as business analyst, product owner or similar role on web-based development projects.
5+ years IT project experiences
Experience of using Agile methods on projects (e.g. Scrum)
Good knowledge of B2C and/or B2B eCommerce business knowledge and best practices.
Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
Strong relationship building skills as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Experience of running workshops to gather requirements, e.g. user story workshops
Experience of full life cycle projects from initial scoping through to delivery
Experience of using Agile methods on projects (e.g. Scrum)
Experience with Java
Total IT Experience: 10 – 15 years

Project Manager
Total Experience: 10-15.
Project Management (PM) Experience: Minimum 5 Years.
PM Experience in Development Projects: Minimum 3 years.
PM Experience in Fixed Price Projects: Minimum 2 years.
As PM, should directly manage multi-location team.
Scope & Change Control Management.
Solution Approach and Delivery for Customer Problem Statement or Needs.
Project Execution Strategy and Planning.
Estimation and Scheduling.
Progress Tracking and Status Reporting.
Managing Project Financials.
Primary accountability for delivering the project, per commitments to stakeholders.
2-4 years experience as Project Manager in managing SAP C4 HANA (Hybris) projects.
PM Experience in managing Agile based projects.
PM/Agile Certifications preferred: PMP, CSM, ITIL, PMI-ACP.
