Workstation Admin
· Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support role. High level of verbal and written communication skills in both English and local language.
· High level of customer support. Able to listen to and troubleshoot with customers with a wide variety of perspectives
· Sufficient ability for workstation support in Windows 10, Mac OS, Ubuntu Linux
· Setup and maintenance: Workstations and laptop, Network (wifi/cabling/equipment), Security system, telephone, conference room, printer, copier, electronics, IT desk and electric cabling, virtual workstation, cloud, portals
· IT equipment shipping and receiving, travel to electronic store, shipping and hardware centres for pick-up and drop-off, repair, and maintenance
· Support deployment of BeyondTrust to workstations
· Support laptop replacement deployment
· Patching and routine maintenance of software and hardware
· Experience with email, passwords, SSO, and client/server troubleshooting
· Installing and configuring a wide variety of applications for workstations
· Knowledge of TCP/IP, WIFI, CIDR, and VPN client setup
· Training and IT orientations, Help maintain user instructions for new joiners

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Consultant with min 5 years of experience in a similar position of workstation administrator.

Skills Required
Mastery of Active Directory / Exchange;
Control of the workstation (desktop, laptop);
Mastery of workstation management/administration tools (SCCM, WSUS, scripting);
Mastery of reporting tools (Varonis….)
Mastery of tools for making workstation images (MDT);
Mastery of Windows7 and Windows 10 OS;
Mastery of the office suite Office 2016, Office 365;
IT security standards and procedures;
Knowledge of technical applications and security tools.
Good communication skills;
Team spirit;
Spirit of synthesis and analysis;
Autonomy and taking initiatives;
Ability to adapt quickly;
Ability to supervise technical teams;
Good knowledge of the banking environment;

Main Tasks
Participate in implementation/upgrade of technical infrastructures of the African subsidiaries to be managed (AD, Exchange, SCCM,…)
Administer the technical platforms AD / SCCM of the African subsidiaries;
Ensure the compliance of the workstation;
Analyze the workstation park and define the impacts (inventories, summaries and dashboards);
Prepare the images to be deployed on workstations, laptops;
Define the Active Directory strategies to be implemented to integrate the new workstation images at the IS level;
Put together the reporting linked to the workstation scope for all the African subsidiaries;
Write the procedures and operating modes;
Supervise local gestures at a distance from the subsidiaries and control the proper execution of procedures;
Support Infra projects at the level of African subsidiaries (upgrade Windows and Office versions, Digitalization / employee mobility program) as well as future projects and programs.
