IT Support Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced 1st Level support engineer to join their team in Coventry.

The IT resource would be the 1st level support engineer who would help on desktop / Laptop / printer / local network / Security devices etc.

Minimum of 3-4 years in the above domain managing IT services and having sound knowledge and hands on experience.

Candidate would coordinate with the backend domain CoE / support team for any application or related IT support.

The brief JD of the candidate is as follows:

· Provide technical support/services to end users at customer premises.
· Conduct onsite / remote troubleshooting of computer problems.
· First level hardware support for end user systems.
· Troubleshooting desktop / laptop OS issues, domain services in coordination with backend team.
· Support for related engineering application software issues (Isolate system issues; diagnose software issues and report issues to respective domain experts).
· Installation / configuration of IT software including IT security tools.
· Troubleshooting basic network, e-mail client, IT security (antivirus, CMG, DLP, Cloud Proxy, etc.) related issues.
· Coordination with vendors / Telecom ISP for seeking support any concerns, breakdown till resolution.
· Remove virus from respective desktop / laptop with the antivirus software.
· Provide VIP support to the identified list of users

HR / Admin Support Consultant

Our client requires a HR/Payroll & Admin support Consultant to cover for maternity leave.
This is an initial 8 week Contract role based out of Coventry at the clients offices inUni Tech Park.
Your role will include support around:
UK Immigration.
HR and Payroll.
Onsite Employee Support.
Office Operations and Administration.
Expense Reimbursement System Management.

UK Immigration
SPOC for UK Immigration Process.
Manage UKBA Sponsor Management System (SMS).
Issue COS – Interact with Offshore Stakeholders, Collect relevant information, Analyse inputs and make sure the information is compliant.
Update SMS with Employee Movements within stipulated timelines.
Drive In-country Work Visa Extensions end to end.
Compliance with UKBA Guidelines – Maintain Documentation up-to-date.

HR and Payroll
Face to Face employee meetings.
Capturing the feedback, discussing the pain areas with the employees and stake holders and facilitating resolution.
Local Implementation of HR Policies.
Employment Contract Templates review and streamlining.
Assisting in Performance Appraisal Process.
Drive Employee Separation Process including assistance in redundancies.
Monthly Payroll Inputs and liaise with Payroll Consultant.

Office Operations and Administration
Manage Corporate Communication Contract with Vodafone Landlines, Mobile and Broadband.
Drive Corporate and HR Events Selection of Venue, Negotiations, etc.
Drive IT Procurement and installations.
Oversee Travel Arrangements with Central Travel Desk.
Vendor Selection and negotiations.
