Reporting, Change & Data Specialist

We are looking for Reporting, Change & Data Specialist in Singapore.
This is open for Permanent, Fixed term hiring or Subcontract.
Location is Marina Bay Financial Centre, Singapore
Remuneration SGD $6,000 to $10,000 Monthly (Depending on Experience)

Roles & Responsibilities

Mission
Ensure the information and reporting needs of the Organization are met in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities
Perform generation and distribution of reports as per predefined schedule to business users while ensuring the accuracy & timeliness of the reports.
Support any adhoc data and information requests for various purposes data analysis, MIS, Internal and External Audit requests etc.
Work towards automating the extraction & distribution of the reports for reports that are periodic in nature.
Establish close ties with corresponding teams in Geneva to transfer reporting knowhow and ensure back up capabilities form GVA are full functional.
Craft data accesses, train business users to self help using Business Objects to meet their own data / reporting needs, work with IT and Teams in GVA to enable and operationalize this.
Ensure reports inventory and reporting audit trail is always kept up to date.
Perform reporting to various bodies as applicable after review by respective business stake holders.
Provide trouble-shooting support on any reports not working or data analysis and work closely with relevant stakeholders for resolution and putting in place preventive measures to avoid similar future occurrence.
Contribute to projects (both local specific or group driven) with operational impacts (i.e. from requirement gathering, user acceptance testing to post implementation support).
Comply with external and internal compliance and regulatory requirements, including the Banks policies, operating procedures and controls to meet the Banks and regulatory requirements and protect the business from financial and reputational risk.

Profile

Sound understanding and knowledge of wealth management industry specifically with regards to MIS used by Senior Management.
Strong Business Objects expertise along with reporting capabilities.
Knowledge of Avalog is a huge advantage.
General knowledge of various Regulatory reports applicable to MAS and HKMA.
Strong influential and collaborative skills to get jobs done.
Independent, initiative driven, solutions oriented, able to propose improvement ideas.
Team player, able and willing to share and continuously contribute to the teams success.
Good communication skills (oral and written) and hands-on attitude.

Experience
Minimum 10 years experience in a similar position preferably in the Banking industry.
University degree qualified.
Excellent interpersonal, communication skills.
Good understanding of wealth management business, regulatory reporting for MAS & HKMA.
Expert use of Microsoft applications, especially MS Excel.
Experience with managing senior internal stakeholders.
Proactive in tackling operational tasks/matters.
Fluent in English is a MUST
Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese) would be a bonus.
