12 Month Fixed Term Contract or Permanent -Salary circa GBP85,000 to GBP95,000 per annum + Holidays & Benefits

Job Description
Must have at least 6+ years of Big Data Development Experience.
Object Oriented Design experience for large-scale enterprise IT solutions.
Must have good Scala knowledge and GCP (Google Cloud Platform) is very desirable.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to resolve issues).
Experience solving problems with Apache Spark (enterprise level usage of Databricks desirable).
Large-scale enterprise, object-oriented design and hands-on experience in building distributed systems.
Worked with agile SDLC and TDD methodologies, with Git/GitHub and continuous integration.
MUST have Financial Services/Banking Industry Sector Experience.

Good to have:
If able to Analyse and understand business and technical stories, writing code, implementing automated tests, contributing to release and iteration planning and developing the working practices of the team.
Strong understanding of Microservice design patterns and how to apply them appropriately.
Experience in working with an investment banks’ Front Office – trading, sales.

L4: Minimum 8 Yrs Experience / Rate: GBP 82K PA.
L5: Minimum 10Yrs Experience / Rate: GBP 90K PA.
L6: Minimum 12 Yrs Experience / Rate: GBP 100K PA.
