Data Center Engineer

You will be part of a Team that follows an On Guard model, which means 8×5 on-prem support followed by on call support.
Candidates MUST be willing to support On Call for P1 incidents.
Norway Police clearance is mandatory to enter the Data Center, once the candidate is selected they will need to apply for Norwegian Police Clearance and they should get it without issue.
This role requires an in depth understanding of both VMWare virtualization, UNIX and Network technologies along with sound knowledge on Data Centre Hardware like Servers, Storage devices, Network devices etc.

Mandatory Skills
Good Experience of Linux in an enterprise environment. in VMWare Virtualization, Scripting, Configuration Management and Automation.

Secondary Skills (one or more of the following would be beneficial Storage)
Oracle/ Puppet/ Ansible/ Katello/ HSM/ Networks/ Solaris/ Windows.

What you’ll be doing/Roles And Responsibilities But Not Restricted To The Following:
Maintaining the day to day operations of critical high secure services, with a focus on automating routines and working practices.
Work closely with application operations teams and the business to assist them in meeting their goals.
You Responsible for your technology domains, driving it forward and training other team members as appropriate.
