Data Interface Consultant

Our client is looking for a Data Interface Consultant to join an exciting project in France.

Mission objectives
The “Data Transfer” activity is included in the “architecture and integration” study team and aims to implement file transfers between Bureau Veritas IS applications, and with external partners.
The objective of the mission is
– on the one hand, to take charge of the implementation of such file transfers to support the global deployment of JD Edwards Enterprise ONE
– on the other hand, to migrate existing transfer scripts to the new “GoAnywhere” solution.
To do this, the consultant will be required to perform the following tasks:
– Implementation of transfers
Taking into account the needs expressed by the IT department’s project teams
Implementation with the MFT (Managed File Transfer) Go Anywhere solution
In the case of migration, recovery of technical information from existing transfer scripts
UAT (User Acceptance Testing) flow tests, then packaging for delivery to the production team for deployment.
– Integration
Implementation and operation request to ensure the proper functioning of the flow: network opening, creation of technical accounts, requests for access rights
Scheduling as appropriate in GoAnywhere or on request for implementation in the Axway Automator tool.
– Deployment
Writing and monitoring of production start-up requests
Support during the start of flows
Level 3 support for transfers in production
– Documentation
Technical documentation of the flows created
In complex cases, writing of instructions sheet for production teams

Required Skills
– Technical knowledge
Windows & Linux operating systems
DOS scripts for file manipulation
Basic SSH commands, and authentication methods (login / pwd, key exchange)
Encryption tools (GPG or similar)
SSL certificate management
Additional tools: Compression tools and SMTP commands
Simple SQL queries4
Knowledge of the “Go Anywhere” tool would be highly appreciated
Knowledge of the “Axway Automator” scheduling tool would be a plus

Fluent English
Good interpersonal skills, in a multi-cultural context
Knowledge of Office suite tools, including SharePoint
Rigor and analytical skills
Autonomy and good level of reporting
