Role – DevOps Specialist

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the development team to streamline the build and deployment process for relevant application components
Actively improve the quality, security, and maintainability of relevant application components
Optimize, maintain and configure the build and deployment pipelines in accordance with best practices and organizational strategy
Apply technical knowledge and experience when selecting the best solution to a problem
Use code reviews and static code analysis to improve the quality of code and highlight vulnerabilities early in the software development lifecycle
Work with relevant stakeholders during the change management process to ensure signoffs are obtained in a timely manner
Work with developers and relevant stakeholders to improve the operational capabilities (logging, monitoring, etc) of our application components
Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of tasks and projects
Essential Criteria:
Experience with Docker and/or RedHat OpenShift
Experience with static code analysis tools
Experience with dependency management frameworks such as Maven, Gradle, NuGet
Experience with continuous integration systems such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Tekton
Experience with deployment systems such as UrbanCode Deploy, Harness
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, Nunit, Xunit, Moq
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
