Java Developer
Java Developer with a strong understanding in modern Java 8, Spring Framework, DevOps and Agile principles is urgently required to join a leading systems integration and consulting company in Central London on a permanent basis.
The Role
As a Java Developer, you will utilize your skills to design, build and deliver software end-to-end from inception to production on client projects or our internal product development. You will have the opportunity to work with techs such as Java 8, Spring, SpringBoot, Groovy, Javascript, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP and much more within microservices-styled systems. You will work in a sociable cross-functional team using best practices (TDD, CI, CD, Pairing) and Agile principles in a Scrum or Kanban environment.
About You
Youre a motivated and hands-on software engineer who has a 5+ year solid grounding but is looking to take the next step. Youve got potential but need some more exposure or opportunities and the chance to learn from a more senior team.
Youre a confident communicator, comfortable contributing to code reviews and take an interest in mentoring fellow developers. You will enjoy being in a diverse friendly team, comfortable collaborating or working independently. You recognize the team is greater than the individual.
You are happy to engage in a technical debate even if you might lose more than you win at this stage of your career.
