LEAD-STORAGE BACKUP

Job Purpose:
This Role is required to deliver, plan and execute legacy transformation of Customer DC Storage and Backup Landscape to private/ hybrid cloud and provide support to execute Transformation & Migration project. This role will provide key inputs for Upgrade, Migration and Decommissioning of Servers and Storage

Key Accountabilities:
Accountability Supporting Activities Storage/Backup Management of KT as the KT lead for Storage and Backup Infra Plan, Design and Deliver Storage and Backup solutions Project reports which provide the status of progress against plan for Senior Management review Training, coaching and mentoring of colleagues and provide expert support during the KT phase.

Knowledge and Experience:
· Min 10-12 years of experience in Implementing, managing Block, File & Object storage Arrays from different vendors like EMC, Hitachi, HP, Pure, Netapp etc. have good understanding of Software defined Storage & Cloud Storage & its implementation.
· Backup Solutions and Design
· Good experience in Replication Setup and Management
· Experienced in up gradations, Migrations and Storage & Server decommissioning
· Experience to perform PoC of various technology to validate architectures & solutions.
· Experience of working on Cisco & Brocade SAN Switches, Zoning, Upgrades and Decommissioning
· Hands on experience with SAN topology & performing activities zoning, load balancing for data paths and multipathing software.
· Experience on Creating SOPs to be followed by L1 & L2 Teams
· Experience of Migration setup and implementation within and across datacenters
· Experience on Performance tuning in the environment
· Experience on Provisioning storage & lun expansion on new & existing hosts
· Understanding on SAN topology with hands-on experience of performing Zoning and multipathing software
· Storage Pool Usage & capacity management
· Experience for performing replication configuration, DR activities procedures & run book creation
· Storage Certification

Education:
· Degree in Engineering, or Computer Science field, or equivalent.
· Good in English (Speaking and Writing)

Technical Skills:
· Block, File Object Storage for multiple vendors: EMC, Hitachi, HP, Pure, Netapp
· Backup Solutions: NetBackup, Veeam, Avamaar, Commvault etc.
