PLM Techno Functional Lead/ Architect

Role: PLM Techno Functional Lead/ Architect
Qualification:
BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field of study.
Responsibilities:
Establish relationship with client leaders and pursue PLM opportunities
Discuss with client teams to gather PLM and CAD project opportunities, corresponding functional and technical requirements
Plan and strategize to take potential opportunities from conception to implementation
Status updates to TechM leadership and joint planning
Collaborate with offshore team leads to convert opportunities and requirements to successful projects
Participate with Solution architects in advising and proposing Windchill PLM, CAD and interface solutions, which guide and align with customer’s vision
Use effective communications and technical expertise to establish and maintain customer expectations, and eventual adoption of proposed solution
Interact with Product Development organizations to resolve issues that affect the solution.
Develop / advise / implement industry best practices and templates to enhance the value derived from solutions delivered by Tech Mahindra
Required Knowledge/Skills:
At least 12 years of experience in PLM and CAD, out of which 7+ years of experience on Windchill PLM, with strong Requirements Gathering, Solution Design, Functional and implementation knowledge, coordination with various client teams and client management skills
Someone with strong experience on Windchill PLM, good experience in Creo and integrations or with strong experience on Creo, good experience in Windchill PLM and integrations. Experience on Multi CAD tools will be preferred
At least 7+ years of experience in two or more of the following: Windchill implementation, Customization, Solutions evaluation, upgrade, system admin & business admin, maintenance & support, CAD implementation/support
5 – 6 years of experience in Architecture, Design & Detailing of Processes for PLM – PTC Windchill PLM will be ideal
Expert in Solution Design and customization on Windchill PDMLink, MPMLink, Project Link etc. Preference will be given for candidates with good experience and strong techno/ techno-functional Knowledge on MPMLink, Creo and Windchill – Creo integration
At least 5 years of Windchill PLM and CAD experience with solution elements such as authoring Functional Specifications, defining Work Streams, Requirements, Scenarios and Use Cases, Data Modeling, Management of CAD Data, Documents and Change Processes, Workflows, Integration with CAD/ERP/Enterprise Application.
Experience in development of assets – PoCs, POVs and Solutions is preferred
Must be a self-starter with effective analytical, excellent communication skills and experience in a client -facing role.
Knowledge of delivery framework and methodologies for an IT Services organization. Experience throughout the phases of PLM projects including definition, installation, configuration, testing, deployment and post-production support
Experience with Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) best practices.
Good to have experience and expertise in Java, Knowledge on Web Service / RestAPI Framework.
Experience with Windchill PLM 11.x is mandatory
