Role: Product Owner
Location: Sittard, Netherlands (else any location in Netherlands WFH)
Permanent position – Salary 80K Euro per annum
Dutch is not Mandatory.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Understand complex industry requirements and translate them into detailed product requirements
· Write user stories and work with the Product Development team to refine those until they are ready to be worked
· Break down user stories with a clear focus on delivering increments of customer value
· Ensure that the product backlog is well maintained and always transparent, up to date
· Prioritize the Product Backlog to streamline the delivery of priorities and plan releases
· Help team members understand the value a user story will deliver
· Attend team meetings and ceremonies and run backlog refinement sessions. Set sprint goals to ensure teams know what they are trying to achieve.
· Take ownership of requirements and direct the team in understanding and committing to them
Requirements:
· Solid experience working as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
· Strong analytical skills and understanding of business processes
· Ability to understand and communicate technical and business concepts
· Substantial personal responsibility and autonomy
· Exceptional communication skills, and being a good presenter
· Working Knowledge of Agile practices
· Experience in software development – SQL knowledge would be advantageous
· Extensive Utility Industry knowledge is a plus
