Project Manager

My client has an urgent need for a JD Edwards Project Manager to work on site in South Africa. The selected consultant must have a 15+ Years in JD Edwards and 7+ years in Project Management

Required Skillset:

Well versed with all the 10 knowledge areas of Project Management
Ability to identify and treat risks in timely manner
Identify and manage the critical path of the project
Ability to handle scope creep
Apply Triple Constraint
Ability to apply Fast Tracking or Crashing Technique as per the project requirement
Excellent written and verbal
Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
Leader Skills
Conflict Resolution skills
Expert in JD Edwards (any module)
Project Management experience in Implementation, Upgrade and Rollout
PreSales / Solutioning experience will be preferred
No Travel Constrains
Good people management skills

Job Description:

Prepare and maintain the project plan
Leading project planning sessions
Coordinating staff and internal resources
Ensuring project deliverables are completed in timely manner
Ensuring projects deadlines are met
Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
Ensuring Project Milestones are completed in timely manner and all approvals in place for invoicing.
Identify areas of improvement, value adds thus leading to change requests and additional revenue
Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
Designing risk mitigation plan
Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects
Managing large and diverse teams
