Job Role: Service Transition Manager
Transition Manager: You will support transfer of responsibility for service delivery from the customer and current suppliers to the delivery organization during the initial stages of the contract.
Technical and Professional Expertise:
· 10+ years hands on experience working in a Service Management environment or similar, with knowledge of ITIL processes and qualified to a minimum of ITIL Foundation.
· Min. 5 years delivery and operational management experience on engagements using ITIL processes or solutions.
· Knowledge and demonstrable experience of Service Transition methodology.
· Advanced stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict management skills
· Ability to understand complex organizational designs and structures
· Results oriented with energy and passion to achieve and exceed stretching objectives and to deliver within tight timescales
· Strong communicator with a high degree of written and verbal communication skills
· Knowledge and experience of project methodologies i.e. Agile, Prince 2 are desirable.
· Good in Communication skills (to present Process Solutions, Consultancy etc.)
· Documentation Skills (Experience in preparation of Enterprise Process Architecture Designs document, SOP Document etc.)
· Certified ITIL Managing Professional/ ITIL Specialist (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Planning and overseeing the IT service responsibility takeover for the support, operation services and also manage the solutions deployment into production environment.
Ensure service transition is planned and executed to schedule, budget and scope.
Client-facing and have a focus on client satisfaction and the overall client relationship
Responsible for Creation of Process Design document, with Integration to Process and Tools
Define Process Transformation Plan and Solutions, for identified scope, solution outcome model etc.
Service Transition Manager – IT Infrastructure Services
Optimized Process value levers/offerings/ROI/Benchmarking outcomes (covering Ops / Commercial Index)
Create Process Assessment Maturity Model, for any ITIL v3/4 process topic
Review & Assess Process Gaps and advise CSI/Best Practice Solutions for use/implementation (Short/Long Term).
Propose & implement best practice solutions, on any ITIL Practice/Process topics
Manage multiple stake holders and ensure success service transition
