Test Management

5-8 years Experience

· Work with business unit to understand purpose and concept of software features
· Assist business analysts in analysing and specifying requirements
· Participate in review of technical specifications and system documentation
· Produce test strategies based on functional and non-functional requirements, e.g. security constraints
· Plan actual tests based on test strategies and development plans
· Follow-up on execution of test activities according to plans
· Ensure optimal test processes according to best practice
· Allocate test manpower in cooperation with project- and resource management
· Report status to management, incl. test execution ratios and defect levels/rates
· Setup and head relevant defect boards to verify severity and determine priority of reported defects
· Maintain well organised records of test results and generate historical analysis of test results
· Plan the utilisation of different test environments and tools
· Participate in application planning meetings
· Initiate reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections of test strategies and plans
